Crossclimb is a word ladder. Five middle rungs are clued; solve each one, then stack them so every word differs from the one above it by exactly one letter. Finish by cracking the top and bottom mystery words that bookend the ladder.
- Read a clue, then type its answer into that rung’s letter cells. All five rungs are the same length.
- Use the up and down buttons — or drag the grip handle — to reorder the rungs until each word is one letter from its neighbour.
- When two stacked rungs are one letter apart they link, and the single changed letter is ringed. The read-out tracks rungs filled, links made and time.
- Link all five rungs and the top and bottom mystery words unlock — each is one letter from the end rung it sits beside.
- Stuck? Hint fills the next rung or nudges one into place; Show solution reveals the whole ladder.
