Need a nudge? Five graduated hints
Hint 1 How many words Reveal
There are 41 words to find on today’s board, and every one is between four and seven letters long. Nothing shorter than four counts.
Hint 2 The length spread Reveal
By length: 19 four-letter words, 15 fives, 6 sixs and 1 seven. The four-letter words are where most solvers build momentum.
Hint 3 The busiest letter Reveal
Twelve of the 41 words start with the letter S — more than any other opener. Work the cluster around that square and the list fills quickly.
Hint 4 The long words Reveal
Seven words run to six letters or more, including one of seven letters. They almost always thread through squares the grid lets you reach by more than one route.
Hint 5 The longest word Reveal
The longest answer is seven letters and begins M‑I‑S. Trace outward from those three squares and it falls into place.

How Squaredle works
Squaredle is a daily word hunt on a small letter grid — today a full 4×4. You build a word by tracing a path of adjacent squares: each next letter must touch the previous one horizontally, vertically or diagonally, and no square may be reused within a single word. Every word is at least four letters.
The aim is completeness, not a single answer: you are trying to uncover all the words the grid can spell. That is why a solver is so useful here — it walks every path from every starting square, so the list below is exhaustive. Longer words almost always thread through squares the grid lets you reach by more than one route.

Squaredle answer FAQ
How many words are in today’s Squaredle?
Today’s Squaredle (No. 43) has 41 findable words: 19 four-letter words, 15 fives, 6 sixs and 1 seven. Our solver traces every one on the grid before we publish.
What is the longest word in today’s Squaredle?
The longest word is MISTAKE — the only 7-letter answer. The seven-letter word is MISTAKE. The complete list is in the reveal above.
Do words have to be four letters or longer?
Yes. Only words of four letters or more count, the path may move in any of the eight directions including diagonals, and each square can be used at most once within a single word.
Is there a Squaredle archive or unlimited practice?
Yes. We keep a dated archive of past boards and their full word lists, and the game page’s New puzzle button generates a fresh, solvable grid and runs it through the same solver, so there is always a complete answer key.
Is this the official Squaredle board?
No. duplixo publishes its own free Squaredle board every day, with the same rules and unlimited practice, plus this how-to-solve guide and a worked solution. It is independent and not affiliated with the makers of Squaredle. For the exact official daily puzzle, play on the official Squaredle site; to learn the method or practise without limits, you are in the right place.
Learned the method? Now race the grid.
The trick to today’s grid was resisting the urge to cash in the easy four-letter words and stop. MINE, MINT, MIST come quickly, but they sit on top of a deeper vein — the letter S alone opens twelve answers, and the longer words thread out from that cluster.
MISTAKE, the seven-letter answer, runs across the board and is the one most solvers miss; 7 words in all reach six letters or more. If you stalled short of the full 41, you were in good company.
